So here we go; the start of a new exhibition design!
As we did last year; this blog will operate as a platform for dialogue, discussion and presentation of ideas on the curation of our Free Range 2011 exhibition and individual design work you aim to exhibit as part of the exhibition.
We will exhibit in the same location as last year; have a look at pictures of the space and a plan of the space.
Due to the nature of the space (minimum of wall space) and the amount we need to exhibit we will engage again in the design and construction of ‘curatorial super-furniture’. Have a look at last years’ construction and design in place.

Each exhibiting student could customize individual units/components to accommodate individual needs, making sure each individual component still fits the main composition. Each exhibit could require different numbers of components; something to individually assess.

In these images you can see a cubistic compilation of the pictures a pigeon takes. All the pictures are made in one place. Because of the pigeon we see the place differently. Not always as clear as a normal pictures. But I think this is a positive thing, as they are mnemonics. They just help your immagination to create a kind of feeling.
